Call to Worship
Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. – Psalm 100:3-4
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. Oh guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. – Psalm 25:16-20
Assurance of Pardon
May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. – Colossians 1:11-14
Now may the grace of God, which saves you and now trains you to renounce all ungodliness, be with you. May God the Spirit strengthen you to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives now, as you wait for the blessed hope of the appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. May our Triune God bless you and keep you and make his face to shine upon you and give you rest. Amen.
