PERSPECTIVES COURSE

Sunday, October 29

Member Risa Woods will be hosting an informational meeting on Sunday, October 29 about an upcoming Perspectives on The World Christian Movement class. It’s not just a “missions class,” but a semester-long class where all believers can get a chance to see God’s global purpose and where everyone plays a role in it, not just those who are “called overseas.” The informational meeting will be held Sunday, October 29 right after church in the upstairs offices at Emmaus. She will share all the details about a class starting in January. For more information about Perspectives in general, visit http://www.perspectives.org.

BAPTISM SUNDAY

Sunday, October 22 // 12 p.m. 

We’ll be set up outside Nat Clements and Tori Clements house in North Kansas City (2 blocks north of Emmaus) immediately following our Sunday service. The location may change depending on weather.

If you are not a covenant member of Emmaus, but find yourself considering if Emmaus should be your church home, you’re invited to join us for our Membership Weekend! You’ll have the chance to get to know us more, and explore the possibility of becoming a member.

Membership weekend is Friday, September 15 – Saturday, September 16.
Friday 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

EMMAUS KIDS VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION LUNCH

The work of our Emmaus Kids volunteers is never unnoticed. We want to thank YOU for regularly sacrificing for and serving the body of Emmaus through declaring and displaying the gospel to our youngest.
