Announcements from Sunday, October 15

Every Sunday we share a few announcements for both Emmaus members and non-members. We feature those announcements here and at times, a few more. Read below to keep up-to-date on all things Emmaus!

Sunday, October 22 // 12 p.m.

We’ll be set up outside Nat Clements and Tori Clements house in North Kansas City (2 blocks north of Emmaus) immediately following our Sunday service. The location may change depending on weather.

If you want to be baptized or want to learn more about what it means, email Pastor Sam Parkison at

Sunday, October 22 // 4-6 p.m. // Banquet Hall under the Chapel at Midwestern Seminary (5001 N. Oak Trafficway)

We’ll welcome new members, vote on important issues and more! Mark your calendars now and make plans to attend.

Member Risa Woods will be hosting an informational meeting on Sunday, October 29 about an upcoming Perspectives on The World Christian Movement class. It’s not just a “missions class,” but a semester-long class where all believers can get a chance to see God’s global purpose and where everyone plays a role in it, not just those who are “called overseas.” The informational meeting will be held Sunday, October 29 right after church in the upstairs offices at Emmaus. She will share all the details about a class starting in January. For more information about Perspectives in general, visit
